INTERESTED IN JAZZ BAND?  There will be a meeting this Tuesday from 3:30-4:30pm in the Band Room.  Bring your instruments.

IMPORTANT DATES THIS WEEK

  • February 12: Chicago Pit Orchestra Rehearsal, 3:30-5pm
  • February 13: Symphonic Band Rehearsal, during ROAR
  • February 13: Jazz Band Interest Meeting, 3:30-4:30pm (bring your instruments)
  • February 14: Wind Ensemble Rehearsal, 7am
  • February 14: Chicago Pit Orchestra Rehearsal, 3:30-5pm
  • February 16-19: NO SCHOOL or Band Activities; enjoy the long weekend!

  • March 21 – LGPE Performance (field trip required for all Symphonic Band members) at Southwest DeKalb HS
  • UPDATED DATE April 16 – Solo & Ensemble Recital
  • April 20 – Solo & Ensemble Festival
  • May 8 – Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble Concert

SPRING MARCHING BAND TUNE-UP DATES – MARK YOUR CALENDARS!  Mark your calendars for the following spring marching band dates:

  • Parent Meeting / Marching Band Interest Meeting – Tuesday, March 26, including 8th grade families
  • Percussion / Color Guard Rehearsals – Mondays starting April 15
  • Leadership Interviews – April 24 & 25
  • Commitment by May 10
  • May 14-16 spring marching band camp
