Booster Club

The Dunwoody High School Band Boosters is composed of parents/guardians of band students participating in the Dunwoody High School Band Program.  The following are the parent members of the Dunwoody High School Band Booster Board for the 2023-2024 school year:

Mission

The Dunwoody High School Band Boosters (DHSBB) strives to provide support for the band program at Dunwoody High School. The vision of the DHSBB is the successful academic and musical growth and outcome for all students.

The DHSBB is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

We work closely with the band director and school administration to enhance the band programs at DHS through fundraising and volunteerism. Membership dues help cover the cost of running a fun and active band program. DHSBB funds the activities and expenses that DeKalb County School District is not able to fund, such as instruments, instrument repairs, uniform dry cleaning, chairs, music stands, equipment, MUSIC!, visual props, and transportation to events, band banquet, scholarships and more.

All payments for band activities (including dues) should be made directly to the DHS Band Boosters in one of the following ways:

● Venmo (@dunwoodybands)
● Check (made out to DHS Band Boosters, given to Dan Geist or put in black box in band room)
● Cash (given to Dan Geist or put in the black box in the band room)
