November 26 – Get Ready for the Menorah Lighting, Bowling Party and Winter Concert!
We hope all of our Band families had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. And here’s what you need to know this week…
DUNWOODY MENORAH LIGHTING CEREMONY IS THURSDAY, DECEMBER 7. All DHS Band members are welcome to join the festivities in Dunwoody Village at 6PM. If you are not in Concert Band class and would like to participate, see Mr. Hutcherson for the music. Stay tuned to the Band app as additional details are communicated!
LET’S CELEBRATE! END OF YEAR BOWLING PARTY FOR ALL BAND MEMBERS IS TUESDAY, DECEMBER 12. All DHS Band members and parents are welcome to join the festivities from 5:30-7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 12th at Bowlero Chamblee (2175 Savoy Drive, Atlanta GA 30341). Come and have fun with the Band as we celebrate the end of the year! Please RSVP asap so we can get an accurate headcount, and we have to pay the venue ahead of the event, so please pay via Venmo (@dunwoodybands) or PayPal (@DHSbands). Payment of $25 includes 90 minutes of bowling, shoe rental, arcade card, 2 slices of pizza, soft drinks and cake! Parents are welcome to join; you only need to pay if you plan to eat pizza and bowl. PLEASE CONTACT MARNI BARRETT IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE THE EVITE.

- November 30 – Peachtree Middle School Concert 7:00 PM (DHS Band is not performing, but please come support the middle school band)
