Ensembles

The Dunwoody High School band program boasts a variety of ensembles and classes suitable for players of all skill levels. Players will find a community of students dedicated to their craft with a focus on camaraderie, skill development, and contributing musically to our community.

Concert Band/Wind Ensemble

Part of the Dunwoody High School curriculum, these ensembles meet as a class during the fall and/or spring semester. The Concert Band works on nurturing developing players, while the Wind Ensemble pushes the envelope with tougher music, more sight reading, and more opportunities to excel. Both bands perform in the Winter Concert and the Spring Concert.

Marching Band

Functioning as an athletic extracurricular activity, the DHS Marching Wildcats learns a marching show and performs on the field at every home game. The whole squad travels to every DHS football game to play in the stands and cheer on our team! Players who cannot commit to Marching Band camp and practices can still play in the stands as part of Stands Band and show their Wildcat pride!

Jazz Band

Functioning as an extracurricular club, this small group of exceptional players plays at the Spring Concert as well as various community events. With a mix of standards and new classics, students explore jazz fundamentals and ensemble play while broadening their music horizons.
