Mark your calendars for spring band dates.

Here’s what you need to know this week.
From Ms. Caputo
Hello Parents and Students,
I hope you had a great weekend!
LGPE Concert Update. We have a slight change in the concert schedule that everyone needs to be aware of. Our Large Group Performance Evaluation (LGPE) concert event is going to change slightly. This year we will be holding our own version of LGPE at DHS and will have an adjudicator come evaluate and work with the students on stage! This new concert date is March 23, from 6pm-8pm. Call time for all students will be 5pm. We will no longer have a pre-LGPE concert in February or participate in the March LGPE, so please make these updates on your calendars!
Concert Band Uniforms. If you have not already, please turn in your concert band uniform sizing order form and money. Enter the sizing for uniforms in this google form ASAP: dunwoodybands.us18.list-manage.com/track/click?u=5e6dcb1443502b7d964068adb&id=d97714de1d&e=7294eeb7f3 Thank you for those who have already turned this in!
Solo & Ensemble. If you want to participate in Solo & Ensemble, the signup and fees are due by January 28. Standard chamber music pieces are required and names of ensemble members or solos due to Ms. Caputo by January 28. See Solo & Ensemble Remind flyer for more information.
Jazz Band will take place in the spring and auditions will be held February 15, 3:30-4:30pm. You can pick up audition material January 25 in the band room. Rehearsals will take place Tuesdays 4:30-6:00pm. See Jazz Band Remind flyer for more information.
Percussion Ensemble will be Mondays and Wednesdays 4:30-6:00pm. There will be a membership fee that will cover private instruction with our percussion instructor, Percussion Festival entrance fee, percussion ensemble music, and equipment. I will send a flyer with more information next week in a Remind text and in class.
Concert Band Dues Reminder. Concert Band dues are $60, payable to DHS Band Boosters by PayPal (Dunwoody High School Band Boosters), Venmo (@dunwoodybands), cash or check. We need these funds to purchase our music. If you paid your marching band dues, you do not have to pay concert band dues. Thank you to those who have already paid!
Marching Band Dues Reminder. There are several members who have still not paid their marching band dues. You will be receiving an email with outstanding due information next week if this applies to you.
Have a great week! Ms.Caputo
