That’s a wrap on the 2021 marching band and color guard season!
Dear parents and students,
Wow! What a week, and what a season!
We hope our students are proud of their hard work and growth this season. Our band grew from only 17 students signed up over the summer to 50 members by the end of the season, and we hope this trend of growth will continue into next year!
Seniors. Best of luck to our beloved seniors! We are so proud of you and the impact you’ve had on this band and your bandmates. We truly enjoyed celebrating with you on Friday! Special thanks to Mrs. Eva Hatch, Mrs. Sara Orrell and Mrs. Cheryl Allison (all moms of Juniors) for organizing such a special dinner and recognition for our seniors and their parents.

Saturday Competition. Saturday was a chilly but exhilarating experience at the White Columns Invitational Marching Band competition at Milton High School. Our band performed their best show yet, earned straight Excellent ratings, and Drum Major Kevin Roach brought home a coveted Superior rating! Congratulations all!! For those who attended, we hope you noticed the new speakers, speaker carts and sound equipment that made it possible for our Marching Wildcats and voiceovers to really be heard on that big field. This was made possible through your generous donations via Snap!Raise, so thank you again to those who donated!
Also, thank you to Mr. Graham Barrett for taking some amazing photos of our students at the competition. They will be posted on our website’s photo gallery shortly, along with the performance video.
November 11: End of Season Bowling Party, 6-8pm at Bowlero in Norcross. What section will be the bowling champion? Do parents dare to bowl and take the title?! Come and have fun with the band! Please RSVP and pay on the band website link below by November 9. Payment of $20 includes 90 minutes of bowling, shoe rental, arcade card, 2 slices of pizza and a soft drink. We LOVE our Volunteers. To all of our volunteers this season, we appreciate you SO MUCH! From chaperoning football games, organizing uniforms and spirit wear, helping serve dinner, pulling the trailer, etc, If you helped in any way, you helped make this season a success for our amazing and talented students. THANK YOU!
